We’re thrilled to share that our Director, Clare Otridge, has been named a finalist in the National Women in Agriculture Awards 2025, proudly run by Farmers Weekly. Clare has been shortlisted in the Innovator of the Year category — a testament to her vision, tenacity, and deep commitment to driving progress in agricultural research.
The National Women in Agriculture Awards shine a spotlight on the incredible contributions of women working across the agricultural sector, from food production and education to technology, retail, and sustainability. With categories that celebrate leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact, the awards offer a rare and powerful platform to showcase those pushing boundaries in the industry.
Clare’s nomination recognises the work she has led here at Grounded Research to create more inclusive, accurate, and farmer-led research practices. From launching our dedicated farmer panel, Five Bar Gate, to pioneering new methods for connecting farmers, retailers, policy makers, and consumers, Clare continues to challenge the status quo and reimagine what research can deliver for agriculture.
“At Grounded, we believe that the people who feed the nation should have a voice in shaping its future,” says Clare. “I’m incredibly proud of our team, our research panels, and our clients who are brave enough to ask better questions and act on the answers. To be recognised among such a talented and inspiring group of women is an honour.”
The awards ceremony will take place later this year, celebrating finalists across ten categories. You can read more about the event and the other incredible finalists here: National Women in Agriculture Awards
Congratulations, Clare — from all of us at Grounded Research, we’re so proud to see your leadership and innovation recognised at a national level. Onwards and upwards!
